AI Portraiture

Nobody can deny that AI is the most significant advancement in imaging technology in our lifetime. Rather than choose fear and scrutiny I choose to embrace this technology and learn everything I can about it and begin incorporating it into my work. 

What you see below is an experimentation in portraits without need for sets, lights, models or even having to obey the laws of physics.

To get to here took countless hours of experimentation, utilizing text-to-image LLMs like Midjourney, DALL-E, Krea and then combining those creations with my own portraiture and often bringing them all back into Photoshop for further editing just to repeat the process all over. 

Though these creations are born in the machine, I believe they are true embodiments of my creative soul, as much as any other art I’ve ever created. There’s actually a lot of “me” in these works.
